Fall Festival to be held this weekend

There will be food, dancing in the streets, art and more at the Boca Grande Chamber of Commerce Fall Festival on Saturday, Nov. 5 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

A street festival, the annual Barbecue Cookoff and family fun have been planned. The street festival will include music, games for the kids and, of course, the barbecue cook-off contest that will have the best local chefs competing for the coveted title of “Best B-B-Q in Boca Grande.”

Serving should begin around lunchtime.

Music will begin around noon, and “Torched” will play from 2 to 6 p.m.

The Chamber asks that everyone along Park Avenue please not park in the street after 7 a.m., as it will be blocked off.
