Taste of Boca date set … a tent on the 10th anniversary

The 10th annual “Taste of Boca Grande” will be held at the Boca Bay Pass Club on Monday, Feb. 6, from 6 to 9 p.m. This year’s ticket price is $85, a slight increase to cover the tent expense, should the weather be inclement.

Tickets are available at the Boca Beacon office, 431 Park Ave.; the Boca Bay Pass Club; the Boca Grande Club; BRC Real Estate, 333 Park Ave., Suite 2C and from Thor Johnson, 964-0697.

Last year, “The Taste” raised $35,400 for the Harry Chapin Food Bank of Fort Myers. Thousands of families in this five-county area depend on food from the various food banks served by the Chapin Food Bank. During the past nine years, “Taste” has raised nearly a quarter of a million dollars.
