Church services announced

Island churches have announced services for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

The Lighthouse United Methodist Church of Boca Grande will be having their Children’s Service on Christmas Eve at 5:15 p.m., followed by prayers and communion from 7 to 7:30 p.m. The Candlelight Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. The Christmas Day service on Sunday, Dec. 25 will be held at 10 a.m.

Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church will be holding mass at 5 p.m. and at 10 p.m. on Christmas Eve. The traditional Children’s Pageant will be held at the church at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Christmas Day mass will be held at 9 and 10:30 a.m.

St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church will be holding its Family Service at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 24 followed by the pre-service music at 9:30 p.m. and service at 10 p.m. On Christmas Day, Sunday, Dec. 25 the service will be held at 9:30 a.m.
