Christmas services for island churches announced

The First Baptist Churchʼs Christmas Eve Service will be at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 24. The Christmas Day Service will be at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 25.

The Lighthouse United Methodist Church of Boca Grande will be having their Childrenʼs Service on Christmas Eve at 5:15 p.m., followed by prayers and communion from 7 to 7:30 p.m. The Candlelight Service will be held at 7:30 p.m. The Christmas Day service on Sunday, Dec. 25 will be held at 10 a.m.

Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church will be holding mass at 5 and 10 p.m. on Christmas Eve. The traditional Childrenʼs Pageant will be held at the church at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Christmas Day mass will be held at 9 and 10:30 a.m.

St. Andrewʼs Episcopal Church will be holding its pre-service music at 4:40 p.m. and the Family Service at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 24 followed by the pre-service music at 9:30 p.m. and service at 10 p.m. On Christmas Day, Sunday, Dec. 25 the service will be held at 9:30 a.m.

The Crowninshield celebration will be held Christmas Eve at 6:30 p.m. for island children.
