Executive Chef Peter Timmins, along with renowned guest chefs including Chef John Folse and Certified Master Chef John Johnstone and others, will share their culinary expertise throughout the weekend, which is scheduled for January 13 to January 15.
The Food & Wine Weekend begins Friday evening with a welcome reception celebrating delectable cuisine. An array of dishes will be paired with wines from the world’s most famous regions.
As guests sample the wines and experience the cuisine, they will have the opportunity to meet and converse with Chef Timmins and all the participating wine vintners.
On Saturday, guests are invited to attend culinary happenings throughout the day, including a wine tasting and a cooking demonstration with Chef Folse, the highly-regarded Louisiana chef and restauranteur.
On Saturday evening the Master Chef’s Dinner will feature multiple courses; each course prepared by a different chef and paired with wine from Pine Ridge Winery in Napa Valley and Archery Summit in Oregon.
Joining The Gasparilla Inn’s Chef Timmins in the kitchen for the Master Chef’s Dinner will be: Chef John Folse from John Folse & Company; Certified Master Chef John Johnstone of Augusta National; Robert Plesh, Executive Chef /Manager of The Pink Elephant, and Chef Peter Wimmler from The Gasparilla Inn & Club.
