Bonefish & Tarpon Trust to hold fundraiser at Gasparilla Inn Beach Club, RSVP now

Bonefish & Tarpon Trust, one of Florida’s science-based conservation organizations whose mission is to conserve and enhance bonefish, tarpon, and permit fisheries, has scheduled a local fundraising event for Friday, Feb. 3 at the Gasparilla Inn in Boca Grande. Seating is limited, so please confirm a reservation by January 27.

Anglers and guides are encouraged to attend to enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeurves, along with updates on the latest Bonefish & Tarpon Trust conservation efforts. Live and silent auction items, destination angling trips, clothing, and guided fishing trips will be available. Beyond helping guide fisheries management, the scope of BTT’s efforts include raising awareness of the role habitat loss and degradation play in harming juvenile gamefish like tarpon.

This is the second year Bonefish & Tarpon Trust has held fundraisers in the local area.

Donations are tax deductible and are applied directly to research.
