Boca Grande Day at the ball park on March 14

The Tampa Bay Rays are offering an exclusive “buy one, get one free” ticket special for a Berm/Boardwalk ticket (regular priced at $9 per ticket) to the game on Wednesday, March 14. This game is designated as Boca Grande Chamber of Commerce Day.

Boca Grande’s own Capt. Sandy Melvin of Gasparilla Outfitters will throw out the first pitch when the Tampa Bay Rays take on the Miami Marlins.

He was the winner of the last Boca Grande Fishing Guides Association Tournament, which has now gone back to it’s original name, Boca Grande World’s Richest Tarpon Tournament.

Help to promote the Boca Grande Area Chamber of Commerce’s 2012 Tarpon Festival Weekend by coming out to support the “World’s Richest” Tarpon Tournament, The Gasparilla Island Kids Classic and the 22nd annual Ladies Day Tarpon Tournaments.

A booth will be set up at the game to promote the Tarpon Festival Weekend, and registration forms will be available there for all three tournaments.
