When does it become acceptable to kill off a species...to abuse the species and it's habitat to the point of a non-existent resource? The answer should be never!
The Boca Grande Fishing Guides Association and videographer Richard Michael Volpe have produced a brilliant, descriptive video presentation that gives a thorough view of the past and future regarding the Boca Grande tarpon fishery and habitat.
At issue is the healthy future of the most prolific tarpon spawning environment on this side of the world. The deserved respect and proper treatment of the Boca Grande tarpon habitat is the right answer and will ensure the future of our great resource for generations to come.
However, due to poorly managed protection for such a great resource by authorized officials who are empowered to make such decisions, the Boca Grande tarpon habitat has suffered steadily during the past two decades. We want you to see our powerful and informative presentation.
You deserve the right to understand what is happening at Boca Grande Pass during tarpon season. Please attend and view the video program this coming Wednesday, March 21 at the Boca Grande Community Center Auditorium beginning 2:00 p.m.

Please know that this is not a plea for financial aid.
