You bring a line and I’ll bring a pole ... let’s go fishing

Lee County Parks and Recreation and the Friends of the Boca Grande Community Center, in coordination with Charlotte County Parks and Recreation, will hold a youth fishing tournament this Saturday, Sept. 8, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the island’s north fishing pier.

All children 15 and under are welcome. There is no charge to participate, and bait will be provided. No lures allowed.

All children must be supervised by a parent. Bring your pole and tackle box, as well as your food and drink of choice, and come win some prizes. Call 964-2564 for more information.
