Accident beheads palm

Around 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 25 this poor palm tree had a traumatic run-in with a Gulf to Bay truck. The tree, which stands at 3rd St. and Gilchrist Avenue., will never be the same after its decapitation.
The driver of the truck sustained minor injuries but refused transport to a hospital.                     Photo by Liza
