Fight cancer and have some fairy tale fun at the 2013 Relay For Life

STAFF REPORT - The Relay For Life of Boca Grande will be holding its 2013 kickoff celebration on Monday, Oct. 15 at 5:30 p.m. at the Woman’s Club Room at the Boca Grande Community Center.  The theme for this year’s Relay is “Relay … where Dreams really do come true”, with teams being encouraged to incorporate a fairy tale theme into their fundraising activities and decorations on Relay day.  

The kickoff celebration will begin at 5:30 p.m. with food and fun. The program will be held from 6 to 7 p.m.  

Join the teams for food and fun and to fight cancer while meeting many people, all working toward the same goal.  

You can help. Join or start a Relay team today or consider being a sponsor.  Currently, Hudson’s Grocery is listed as a 2013 Sponsor. All organizations and companies are welcome to join as well.  

Teams that are already on board are Italiano Insurance, the Boca Beacon, the Kris Boyden Team, Team Hudson’s, The Island School and the Boca Grande Horseshoe Club.

The Relay For Life of Boca Grande will be held on April 27 and 28, 2013 at the Wheeler Street Ball Field.
