Military promotion ...

Lemon Bay High School graduate, former island worker and Iraq War Veteran, Shawn Foster was just promoted from Specialist to Sargent ... 10th Special Forces Group Headquartered in Fort Carson, Colorado.

At the promotion ceremony US Army/Coast Guard Commander Bob Melvin III, Ret. handled the official pinning of Shawn's new rank with proud Papa Bob Melvin IV .

Shawn is the son of Addy and Bob Melvin (Gasparilla Properties).
