Professional Exhibition Series plans set for January

BY JIM LABINSKI - Golf and dining packages and artwork are among the featured offerings in next month’s Tennis Ball and Silent Auction to benefit the Suncoast Humane Society.

Set for Wednesday, Jan. 23, at 6 p.m. in the newly remodeled Clubhouse Restaurant of the Boca Grande Club, The Tennis Ball and Silent Auction is the kickoff for the 15th annual Professional Tennis Exhibition Series. 

 “The chance to play at five of the area’s premier courses makes the golf package a very appealing item every year,” said Jack Johnson, a Boca Grande Club member and Silent Auction coordinator. “There are great wine packages, fishing trips and fine artwork from local artists being offered in the silent auction. There’s something for just about everyone.”
