Two felony thefts in two days were reported to Lee County Sheriff’s deputies between the days of December 10 and 11.
On December 10, deputies were called to the 500 block of 5th Street. The resident there reported that some of her clothing, including five cashmere sweaters, were missing from her home, as well as cash from her purse. The resident said she would prosecute.
The estimated value of the clothing and cash was listed in the report as more than $6,300.
On December 11, a resident in the 200 block of Tarpon Avenue met with deputies and said that four of her wicker patio chairs were missing. The table and umbrella, however, were still there.
The owner of the chairs said she would prosecute if the chairs were located. The approximate value of the chairs is $200 each.
