Looking for Civil War stories

The Friends of the Boca Grande Community Center are continuing to solicit articles, anecdotes and short “bytes” regarding the Civil War which have been passed down by island families during the last 150 years.

“Civil War Memories,” the commemorative book featuring articles submitted by residents and families of residents of Boca Grande, has grown to more than 60 pages from 18 participants.
