We all know how wicked Richard III was, murdering those poor little boys in the Tower of London; how Potemkin fooled Catherine the Great and several of Europe’s leading diplomats by erecting false front villages along their route; how Attila the Hun and Genghis Khan spent most of their lives raping and pillaging.

In Rosemary Bowler’s course, “Villains & Victims of Bad Press,” on Thursdays, Feb. 7, 14, 21 and 28, participants will look at the lives of these “villains” and try to determine whether they deserve the infamy that accompanies their names.
