A poker runnin’, corn holin’ good time this weekend

Looking for some excitement this weekend? Uncle Henry’s Marina is having a poker run on Saturday, Feb. 16 and you can bring your boat, car or bicycle.

There is no registration fee. Check in is at 10 a.m., and the finish will be at Uncle Henry’s at 4 p.m.

The run will start at Zeke’s at Royal Palm Marina, then move on to Flounders Restaurant, from there to Stump Pass Marina, then to Waterside Grill at Gasparilla Marina and, finally, Uncle Henry’s Marina in Boca Grande.

There will be prizes for low and high hands, a 50/50 raffle to benefit the Friends for the Advancement of Music Education (F.A.M.E.) in Englewood, and kids’ contests.

Entertainment will be provided, there will be vendors selling their wares and a corn hole tournament.

Special discount rates can be found at the marina and the hotel.

You can register for the poker run and the corn hole tournament at Zeke’s, Flounders, Stump Pass, Waterside Grill or Uncle Henry’s.
