Letter to the Editor: Thanks to all who participated in 'Taste'

To the Editor:  

This year’s Taste of Boca Grande was the best ever.  Well over 500 guests enjoyed the beautiful evening, supporting a great charity, the Harry Chapin Food Bank.  

Our chefs, representing 16 restaurants, made it a gourmet evening. Our thanks go to Jimmy Searle of the Pass Club, to Greg Foos of the Boca Grande Club, to Myriam Glover of Coral Creek Club, to Mike Leopold of the Crow’s Nest, to Antonio Olivero of Eagle Grille/Miller’s Dockside, to John Mazza of Farlow’s, to Patty Kitchen of The Grapevine, to Fran Casciato of Libby’s, to Jacques and Blanche Boudreau of The Loose Caboose, to Patrick Vollmer of Patrick’s Thai Bistro, to Rob Plesh and Kono Wendel of The Pink Elephant, to James Turner of PJ’s Seagrille, to Justin Bowns of Prime Time, to Greg Beno of South Beach Bar and Grille, to Kevin Stockdale of The Temptation and John Feagans and Debbi Castle of the Waterside Grill.  

The quality of the food makes The Taste an outstanding event, and we thank you, the Chefs.
