The proposal by Ian Rogerson and the Hunter Buchanan Estate at 450 Tarpon Avenue includes plans for a new 4,800-square-foot single-story, cottage-style home. It will be elevated to five feet eight inches above grade due to FEMA regulations.
The front, or west elevation on Tarpon Avenue, will be divided into three staggered wings – the entry, the central and the garage wings. The central wing of the house will feature a gabled roof, and the garage wing will be northern facing.
The southern half of the backyard will include a deck with a pool and spa, and the back of the house will feature a screened-in porch.
The next meeting for the Historic Preservation Board will be on August 14.View More images >>
