Manisco is a graduate of the Slade School of Fine Art, London University and studied at the Academia Dell’Arte in Florence. Her watercolors are part of the permanent collections of the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge and the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation in Pittsburgh.
Her work is included in numerous publications such as Dr. Shirley Sherwood’s “Contemporary Botanical Artists,” and “A Passion for Plants.”
She is a Linnean Society of London fellow, a long-standing member of the American Society of Botanical Arts and the Chelsea Physic Garden Florilegium Society of London.
Katherine is an honorary member of the Highgrove Lorilegium, created under the aegis of The Prince of Wales’ Charitable Foundation to record the flora in his garden at Highgrove.
The response to Manisco’s classes last year was overwhelming.
