Architectural Digest, to whom Nancy had submitted the video, wanted to do a feature on their island home.
BY LIZA STROUT - Carol and John Roskopf were walking along the beach on the day before Thanksgiving when they noticed something odd. A disheveled bird was sitting right on the surf line. As they approached, it tried to fly, but could not make it into the air.
National Theatre Live, brought to the island by The Friends of the Boca Grande Community Center, is returning on Monday, Dec. 10 at 7 p.m. with “Timon of Athens” by William Shakespeare.
Boca Grande clay and paper artist Susan Shaffer is being featured in an invitational solo show at the North Port Art Center through Friday, January 4.
Boca Bargains reopened this past week to a throng of shoppers who were all eager to see what new, interesting items were in the store.
