The Friends of the Boca Grande Community Center and the Literature Forum will present their newest installment in the series, featuring author Sebastian Barry and his book, “A Long, Long Way.”
There is a new addition to the Boca Beacon family! Caroline Sabal Hopkins came into the world at Sarasota Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, Nov. 6 in the afternoon hours. She weighed 10 pounds, 3 ounces, and she and mom are healthy and happy.
Welcoming her home are a doting Sam Gish and big sister Kate Hopkins. Congratulations to all!
Coordinators for the “event of the season,” The Taste of Boca, are expecting to make some major announcements within the next week or two.
As it stands the event will be held on Monday, Feb. 3 at the Boca Bay Pass Club. There have been 17 restaurants to commit so far.
