Those are on the table, but John said the real fun stuff is economics and business. He serves on several local boards and committees in those areas.

FWC meeting news: Tarpon on their way to catch-and-release status

 

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), at its April 17 meeting near Tallahassee, moved forward unanimously with a proposal to make tarpon and bonefish catch-and-release-only fisheries.

Gilchrist median debate continues at historic preservation board meeting

Read more...A  new committee. Two plans. A lot of discussion. Much was discussed at the April meeting of the Boca Grande Historic Preservation in reference to Gilchrist Avenue parking, culminating in a decision to have one of the board members spearhead a committee of a chosen few to make a final decision pertaining to parking on the median.
