BY MARCY SHORTUSE - Boca Grande is known worldwide as a skimboarding paradise, and the guys from Zap Skimboards in Venice come out to the island frequently.
Recently some local and not-so-local skimboarders came to the south end of the island to catch some waves and the Boca Beacon caught up with them.

STAFF REPORT - On October 8 at 7 p.m., the Friends of Boca Grande Community Center will rebroadcast the National Theatre Live performance of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, directed by Marianne Elliott.
