Obituary: Jane E. Michael

Jane E. Michael of Boca Grande, and formerly of Marion, OH passed away on Dec. 23, 2011, after a brief illness. She was 87-years-old.

Jane Elizabeth (Smith) Michael was born on July 13, 1924 to Everett H. and Inez (Lepp) Smith, of Bucyrus, Ohio. In 1966 she married Walter R. (Mike) Michael, also of Bucyrus.  After living for many years in Marion, OH, they both permanently relocated to Boca Grande, where they have lived since 1989.

Jane was predeceased by her husband, Mike, who passed away in February of 2011. They were members of the Boca Grande Club and First Presbyterian Church in Ohio.

Jane is survived by her two stepchildren, Jeffrey B. Michael (Bucyrus, OH) and Jean M. Eagan (Spring Lake, MI);  and two step-grandchildren, Patrick M. Eagan (Greenwich,CT) and William J. Eagan (Hilton Head Island, SC).

Lemon Bay Funeral Home in Englewood and Wise Funeral Home in Bucyrus, OH will be handling the arrangements.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date in Ohio.
