The Boca Grande Camera Club will have its first meeting of the season on Tuesday, Nov. 15 at 11 a.m. in the Woman’s Club Room of the Boca Grande Community Center. All island residents are welcomed and encouraged to attend.
Members of the Boca Grande Historic Preservation Board met briefly on Wednesday, Nov. 2 to discuss a new fence for the Webb home on West 17th Street.
Last year the Boca Grande community collected 1,200 pounds of food in the short Christmas food drive, and this year gives the opportunity to join your Boca neighbors to make this Harry Chapin Food Bank Christmas Drive another success.
On Tuesday, Nov. 8 at 10 a.m. you can get a jump start on the season at the Boca Grande Garden Club’s first workshop, to be held at Native Gardens.
The Friends of the Boca Grande Community Center is featuring National Theater Live this weekend, Saturday, Nov. 5 at 7 p.m.
Bocaween has come and gone, but the memories from 2011 will definitely live on.
