BY LIZA STROUT - There may not have been lines of voters stretching out the doors of the Boca Grande Community Center, but for the volunteers manning the polls, it was a success.
“Everything went very smoothly,” said Lew Hastings, executive director of the Boca Grande Chamber of Commerce and primary day volunteer. “I was part of a crew that helped 76 island voters cast their ballots,” he said.
