FWC break-away jig study refuted by originating scientist Friday, 17 May 2013 10:06   BY MARCY SHORTUSE - In the summer of 2004 Dr. Justin Grubich picked up the phone to take a call from a woman who said she was with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. The woman, Kathy Guindon, talked with Justin for about 30 minutes foul-hooking tarpon, and he was asked to provide expert witness testimony on how tarpon feed. BY JIM LABINSKI - Months of preparation, a dedicated staff, supportive donors, enthusiastic volunteers and a lively crowd all came together to make Wednesday night’s Tennis Ball and Silent Auction to benefit the Suncoast Humane Society at the Boca Grande Club a tremendous success.

At least $20,000 dollars was raised in the intense competition for the 20 items in the silent auction.

Read more...Angie Humbarger was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, the middle of five children. Her father worked for Ford Motor Company and her mother raised children and poodles. Angie has a love of the water, which comes from her father, who was a fan of boating, water skiing, and fishing.

Angie went to nursing school in Cincinnati. She met her future husband, Jeff, when they were both students doing pediatric rotations. When asked how they had had time to actually get to know each other,

Angie laughed and said, “I have no idea how we managed it.”  
Their first date was at a baseball game, since they are both Reds fans. One of their conversations that day centered on her not wanting to have kids.
